- Heat a home. A 1 kWh battery runs a 1,000 W heater for under an hour.
- Run an oven, kettle or washing machine for long. High-wattage appliances drain it fast or exceed 1,000 W.
- Recharge quickly in winter cloud. Solar output can drop to a fraction of the rating.
- Replace a home battery system. It is portable backup for essentials.

The things people ask before buying
Can I use it indoors?
Yes. It is a battery: no engine, no exhaust, no carbon monoxide. That is the main reason to choose it over a petrol generator, which must never run indoors or in a garage.
Will it run my fridge?
Most modern A-rated fridges average around 40–60 W across a day (the compressor cycles on and off), so the 1 kWh kit runs a typical fridge for about 15–20 hours. The fridge's start-up surge is well within the 2,000 W surge rating. The 2 kWh kit roughly doubles that.
Can it heat my home?
No, and we would rather say so now. Heating is the most power-hungry thing you can do: a 1,000 W heater empties a 1 kWh battery in under an hour. The optional heater has a 500 W low setting for about 1½ hours of warmth in one small closed room. For long cold outages, plan blankets and warm clothing first.
How long does the sun take to recharge it?
In strong direct sun the 200 W panel typically delivers 120–160 W, so a full recharge takes about 6–8 hours. Cloud, winter sun and panel angle make it slower. A second panel (the station accepts up to 400 W of solar) roughly halves the time.
Can it power a CPAP or other medical device?
Many CPAP machines draw 30–60 W without the humidifier, which gives several nights from one charge. Check your device's rating and your manufacturer's guidance. This is consumer backup power, not a certified medical power supply.
How should I store it between outages?
Charge it to full, keep it indoors at room temperature and top it up every 3 months. LiFePO4 batteries hold their charge well and are not harmed by being kept topped up.
What if it isn't right for me?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it for a full refund (the legal minimum in the EU is 14), and the 2-year EU legal guarantee covers faults.
